Metal workshop

We needed façade scaffolding before starting work on the site and because we are focused on quality, safety and organization of our employees, we decided to arrange a space where façade scaffolding of European metal construction standards would be installed and also would be possible to make carved details, chandelier, vitreous, restoration of ridges and grilles and creation of new ones.

Definitely the work is carried out in full compliance with international standards, and in all this we are assisted by the ISO-9001: 2015 certificate, which emphasizes the reliability of the company Arttex in terms of quality.

It is noteworthy that our metal workshop employs professional blacksmiths and highly qualified welders. With the growth and development of the company, the number of jobs in the workshop increases.

We can confidently say that we are ready to fulfill large orders.

We continue to move forward towards the set goals.

The name Arttex is a synthesis of art and technology. It is noteworthy that from ancient times to the present, both play a major role in human life. Art expresses the human imagination and creativity, while in architecture technology helps us to carry out ideas and ideas with a combination of tools, processes and methods that make different objects, objects, even to produce something. We also started working with this ideology to read the result of the synthesis of art and technology in our works.

Of course, it is very dangerous to combine two different essences, but we will definitely get the desired result when the development process is in the hands of professionals.

Professionalism alone is not enough, you do not need to give up, look for new things, use experience and self-confidence.

Details in architecture

Details are very important in communication with the public in architecture, and the relationship with architecture is similar to communication with people because we attach great importance to the initial view and usually observe the details. Also with architecture, when we first encounter buildings, they communicate with us through their elements, conveying to us the thought and feeling that the architect gave them during the design.

In addition to visual communication, it is important to calculate every detail. Imagine an architect who spends hours thinking about what shape, material or color to put on a building, so that it sits harmoniously with each other, understands the details of everyday life, considers all safety norms because it does not pose any danger to people.

Architecture and its details are directly related to human well-being, security and also happiness.

History of the establishment of street lamps

The first person to create a complete lighting system for the city with the help of "street lanterns" was the head of the Amsterdam Fire Department - Jan van der Heyden. He suggested to the city authorities in the 18th century capital of the Netherlands that the best way to escape the many obstacles of the night was to introduce "street lanterns" throughout the city. Then the Netherlands was followed by other countries.

Tbilisi has been lit since the second half of the XVIII century. King Erekle liked lighted Tbilisi very much, and during the holidays the population had to come out with torches at night. There were 3,200 lanterns in our capital in the 70s of the XIX century

Monuments of lamplighters are erected in many cities around the world, and Tbilisi is decorated by Irakli Tsuladze's "patron".

With the refinement of technology, the design of the lanterns was refined and virtually fully electrified.

Lanterns are still lit in some cities to attract tourists.

City with balconies

Tbilisi is distinguished by its distinctive architecture, which has not lost its charm for centuries. Now we want to take a look at the beautiful and impressive balconies of our city.

The face decorated with balconies of the facades of houses, which are called Tbilisians, was formed in the forties of the XIX century. The natural environment has from ancient times developed the need to include people in the plan of the corridor and balcony apartment. The wooden hanging balconies were treated with special love and compared to the balconies placed on the inside of the yard, they created a diverse artistic pattern. These balconies decorated the winding streets of Tbilisi. In addition, balconies were dug into the depths of everyday street life. Person going out on the balcony could be a participant in every story that happened on the street.

The ornaments and details of the balconies give us an idea of where and how the ordinary population lived in 19th century Tbilisi. In many cases, this is what attracts foreign tourists. They choose places to visit where old two-story houses are carved with balconies and beautiful courtyards.

Tbilisi wooden balconies added life to the houses. As the years went by, it even changed its appearance, but not its significance.
